'Teeth' and 'BOO!' Reviews....

A stranger to her own body, innocent Dawn discovers she has a toothed vagina when she becomes the object of violence. As she struggles to comprehend her anatomical uniqueness, Dawn experiences both the pitfalls and the power of being a living example of the vagina dentata myth.

Ever since I heard of the concept I knew I wanted to see it. A very original idea indeed. Though I think I saw it in an anime once...I surprisingly enough would not call this a horror film. It's very tongue and cheek For the first 45 minutes and then once you know the pussy teeth are there you just kinda sit back and wait for horny males to stick things in her SHARKTEETH la la land.
I would have thought an angry man hater wrote this film the way it plays out. As if the writer had been raped before and just wanted teeth for that brief moment. But thats a big negative, the film was written and directed by and unknown named Mitchell Lichtenstein.
Now gore wise, the film shows you exactly what you get. Which was good because the screener copy I got of this film was not edited in any shape or form. Needless to say you can rent this one at Blockbuster and it wont be edited, unlike our other Dimension Extreme favorite 'Inside'. But we wont get into that.

I give 'Teeth'...

I had been wanting to see this film since it his stores but I think I just lost track of it. If any film is about Halloween night I want to see it. I don't care how shitty it is. Remember 'Trick or Treat' with Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons?
This film is a fun little ghost story that takes place in an abandoned hospital with a bunch of college students staying the night for a little Hallos Eve fun. They then find themselves in the middle of a insane ghost battle.
This film to me was not very original at all. I have already seen this film like eight different times. You can cram 'Night of the Demons' and the 'House on Haunted Hill' remake together and this would be the dumbed down version. The acting was pretty shotty and the make up fx looked like they were done by a Fullsale film student. There were a few cheap scares that involved speeding up the camera (Note the 'House' ref) but that happened about twice. Most of the film was pretty boring to me. Actually later in the film, one of the actresses dies by getting shot in the head and as she's laying on the ground, the camera pans to her face and she is blatantly blinking allot!
It was a sloppy film all around. The only way I think I would watch this again is if a girl came over and wanted to watch it and I thought I would be getting some at the end of the film.
Do yourself a favor and just watch the two films I referenced above. At least I didn't BOO! at the end of them.

I give 'BOO!'...

The anime you are thinking of that had a demon woman with teeth in her vagina was: Wicked City.

Fucking awesome anime btw. Very weird and creepy.

YES!!! That is exactly it! I was typing the review and put 'Dark City' in and I knew that was not right. But yes, thank you for remembering which anime it was. I'll have to dig that one up and watch it again.
